Respecting our space
To maintain a fresh and clean environment for all guests, we kindly ask for no smoking inside the property. If you choose to smoke outside, please ensure all smoking materials are completely cleaned up and properly disposed of. We appreciate your understanding in keeping Friendship Retreat beautiful.

Respecting our neighbors
Maintaining our relationship with our neighbors is extremely important to the Friendship Retreat. Please do not use their yards or their shoreline and docks. The open lot to the east (right) of the Friendship Retreat belongs to the neighbor, please do not use this space. We have two docks. One that goes straight out to the lake and one that angles to the right into the smaller bay. The dock to the right is good for fishing. If you have a boat, please feel free to tie up to either dock. We ask that not move or board our pontoon boat if it at the dock. Thank you!

Garbage and Recycling
We ask that you please separate garbage from recyclables. In both kitchens, there are dual garbage cans to make separating more efficient. On the right side of the driveway, there is a brown container for garbage and a blue container for recyclables. We have a service that picks up garbage and recycling on Monday. The containers will be taken out to the road on Sunday evenings.

A pet-free haven
While we adore animals, we maintain a strict no pets policy at Friendship Retreat. This ensures comfort and cleanliness for all our guests, especially those with allergies. Thank you for helping us keep our retreat accessible to everyone.

Peaceful moments and neighborly courtesy
We ask all guests to observe our quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM to ensure a restful experience for everyone at Friendship Retreat and our neighbors. Please also be mindful of our maximum guest limit of 12 people and a maximum of 6 cars. Kindly avoid parking on the street to keep our community accessible and tidy. Your respect for these guidelines helps us all be good neighbors.

When accidents happen
We understand that sometimes things get broken or don't work as expected. If an accident occurs, please let us know right away. Reporting any damages or issues promptly allows us to address them quickly and ensures that all future guests can fully enjoy everything Friendship Retreat has to offer.

Lake life etiquette
To preserve the tranquility and safety of our beautiful lake, please observe the no wake rule from 6 PM to 10 AM. When traveling on the lake, always move in a counterclockwise direction. Please familiarize yourself with all regulations for the operation of watercraft on Wisconsin waterways. Let's all work together to respect our neighbors and the precious lake environment.
Understanding our policies
Your enjoyment and the well-being of our property are important to us. For detailed information on how these rules are enforced and what to expect if a rule is broken, please refer to your rental agreement. We encourage all guests to familiarize themselves with this document.
